1. Acceptance and scope
Via Logos provides Bible-study tools, guided study workspaces, notes, drafts, generated resources, reading plans, and ways to share material. By accessing the site, creating an account, or using the service, you accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you are a minor where you live, you may use Via Logos only with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
3. Permitted use
You may use Via Logos for lawful personal, ministry, educational, and teaching purposes. You may not violate another person’s rights, introduce malicious code, bypass access controls or usage limits, collect other users’ data, interfere with the service, use it for unlawful or abusive content, or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that do not belong to you.
4. Your content and shared links
You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You authorize us to host, process, reproduce, and transmit it only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the features you request. You are responsible for having permission to use material you add and for not including confidential or third-party information without authorization.
Via Logos may save studies, notes, and drafts so you can resume or synchronize them. Some drafts may also remain in your browser. When you publish a share link, the selected content may be viewed by anyone who can access that link while it remains active. Review the material before publishing it, and disable the link in the app when you no longer want to share it.
5. Generated resources and Bible study
Generated analysis and resources are designed to support study, teaching, and reflection. They do not replace your reading of the passage, consultation of responsible sources, pastoral discernment, or professional advice. Automated results can contain errors, omissions, or unsuitable interpretations. Review them in light of the biblical text and its context before teaching, publishing, or relying on them.
6. Plans, charges, and cancellation
Some features require a paid plan. Before completing a purchase, you will see the price, billing frequency, included credits or limits, and any available trial. Payments and subscription management are handled by our payment provider. You may manage or cancel an active subscription from Settings. Unless the purchase screen or applicable law says otherwise, cancellation prevents future renewals and paid access continues through the end of the period already covered.
7. Via Logos property
The service, its design, brand, software, original text, and other Via Logos materials are protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the service through its intended features. They do not transfer ownership of Via Logos or authorize you to copy, sell, sublicense, or exploit the service beyond what is permitted.
8. Third-party services
Via Logos relies on providers for hosting, authentication, storage, payments, artificial intelligence, audio, and other technical functions. Their services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We do not control external sites you open from a link and are not responsible for their content or availability.
9. Availability and disclaimer of warranties
We work to provide a secure and useful service, but Via Logos is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or that every result will be accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
10. Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or systems, investigate abuse, comply with the law, or respond to a violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time and request help with your account through the channels listed below.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, its providers, or applicable obligations change. We will publish the current version at this route and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate it before it takes effect.
